Google Cloud's Vera Rubin-based A5X instances open to all next month, with Europe on the roadmap

一句重點:WPP's first tests give a sense of what one A5X can handle: a single instance was enough for jobs that previously took an entire multi-node cluster. What WPP tested was a creative-agent architecture it had built with Nemotron and OpenShell (NVIDIA blog).

A5X isn't a new product. It was first shown at Google Cloud Next in April, when the plan was for clusters spread across multiple sites to top out at 960,000 Rubin GPUs (NVIDIA blog, April).

Two things are new in this announcement: when general availability arrives, and how far confidential computing has come. G4 VMs, which are equipped with RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, now offer confidential computing as a generally available option, and NVIDIA sees it as suited to inference and fine-tuning work that must stay private (NVIDIA blog).
