X announced that the three subscriptions are being merged into five tiers, from Free to Ultra (@SpaceXSI). Cursor said usage is shared across products, Grok models get twice the coding usage of the equivalent Cursor plan, Premium and above include Grok Bot, and third-party models now bill at API rates (@cursor_ai). X Premium said the new plans cost the same or less than their equivalent tiers (@Subscriptions). Existing subscriptions can be kept, and switching is rolling out in batches. A subscriber who already had Cursor Ultra and X Premium reported that after adding X Subscription Ultra, the accounts didn't merge, leaving two Ultra plans (@douglas_correa).
